A Portfolio of photography projects by Jay Mason-Burns. I am an amateur photographer from south Birmingham. I specialise in street and urban photography, and I'm working on developing my documentary style. I staged my first street photo exhibition 'Everyday People' at the Gunmakers Arms in 2019. I was lucky enough to publish my first photo-book, 'Corridors of Uncertainty', that documents the remains of Birmingham's pedestrian subways and concrete infrastructure, with ADM publishing in 2021. My work has featured in the "Reclaim Photography Festival" in 2018, "In the Footsteps of Phyllis Nicklin" Grid Project in 2019, "B4B4HS2" Grid Project in 2021, as well as forthcoming features at the The Yam Cams 'Picturing the Black Country' Exhibition and the TekkinPix 'Wednesbury thru the Lens' exhibition.
